Essential education and qualifications

  1. RQF level 3 qualification in a relevant field such as project management, education and training, teaching and learning or customer service.

Essential key skills, abilities, knowledge, experience, values and behaviours

  1. Ability to communicate effectively with a range of people in a clear, concise and accurate manner, changing messages to suit different audiences.
  2. Ability to use research to inform the content of reports where appropriate, and the ability to produce clear and accessible reports to be shared with managers.
  3. Ability to use technology as part of the role: Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, devices: laptops, corporate iPhones and surface hubs.
  4. Ability to plan and organise a varied workload for self and others, working to short deadlines.
  5. Able to work effectively with and relate to other people.
  6. Ability to work across complex partnerships and communication channels.
  7. Ability to chair and facilitate meetings.
  8. Knowledge and experience of the SEND Code of Practice, and the processes and practices, knowledge and practical understanding and experience of relevant legislation.
  9. Understanding ways of identifying and managing risks in relation to projects.
  10. Experience of project management to deliver agreed outcomes.
  11. Experience of producing information documents for a variety of audiences.
  12. Experience of managing or supervising staff.
  13. Demonstrate commitment to equality, opportunity and diversity.
  14. Full driving license or the ability to demonstrate how you will meet the travelling needs of the role.

Desirable key skills, abilities, knowledge, experience, values and behaviours

  1. Knowledge of education and social care support services.
  2. Knowledge of the Personalisation Agenda.
  3. Experience in mediation, negotiation and conflict resolution
