Hoist and Stairlift Install Engineer, Southern Mobility Centres.

£32,000 with experience

Southern Mobility Centres is looking for a proactive, motivated installation engineer to install stairlifts & hoists. Previous experience is essential with similar equipment, but training will be provided to help transition to the makes and models we use. Applicant will need to be able to work 40 hours a week and be happy and willing to travel to various locations around East and West Sussex. Emergency call out rotation is also required which involves out of hours working but carries good pay incentive. The ability to work as part of a team or individually is crucial.

Applicant must:

  • Have experience in servicing and installing a number of different stairlifts types
  • Have mechanical and electrical experience
  • Maths and technical qualifications
  • Must be practical and demonstrate a wealth of common sense.
  • Be open and willing to learn how to service and install new types.
  • Be open to learn new skills including overhead hoist service and installation
  • Work well in a team
  • Be a good communicator
  • Be able to follow varied day work schedules
  • Have a clean full driving licence.

Company van, mobile phone, and appropriate tools provided, with private health care being offered after first year.
