The Southfield Trust is seeking dedicated and passionate Care Assistants to join our vibrant team in a rewarding educational environment. We offer the opportunity to work in an urban setting, supporting a diverse group of SEN students to achieve their full potential.
The Role
As a Care Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our teaching staff and engaging with our pupils. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high quality care
- Assisting students with personal hygiene
- Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Monitoring and recording student progress
- Assisting with the management of classroom resources and setup

- Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential

Contract
- This is a fixed term contract until 22nd July 2025 with the possibility of an extension.
- The paid hours of work are 30 per week (6 hours each day) – Monday to Friday
- This is a term time only post which is paid for 45.05 weeks per year.
- As this post is part time / term time only the salary will be pro rata of the full-time figure Single Status 2.4 (£22,366) and is £15,667 per year.
