The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.
If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
This is a fabulous opportunity for a dedicated and organised person to join the school team at The Haven CE Methodist School, which is part of Diocese of Chichester Academy Trust. We are seeking to appoint a highly flexible, self-motivated and reliable Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant.
The Behaviour Teaching Assistant will:
- Work with a range of pupils: provide support across various age ranges addressing diverse behavioural needs and challenges.
- Implement behaviour management strategies: collaborate with teachers and other professionals to execute individualised behaviour support plans and foster positive behaviour in the classroom.
- Offer one-on-one support: work closely with pupils who have complex educational and behavioural needs, providing tailored assistance to improve their learning experience and social-emotional development.
- Contribute to a positive learning environment: utilise specialised skills to support teachers in maintaining an atmosphere conducive to learning for all pupils.
