To positively engage with stakeholder, businesses and residents during major schemes, service as conduit between the project team and the community.
To promote and improve the reputation of East Sussex Highways and Balfour Beatty through positive communications and feedback, being a trusted point of contact.
What you’ll be doing
- Conduct stakeholder Management within project communities.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships and open communication channels with stakeholders, business, and other group within communities.
- Develop strategies and processes for engaging and dealing with public enquiry and queries.
- Managing communications data securely and identify trends to optimise future engagement and best practice.
- Coordinate project promotional exhibitions for large, major schemes.
- Engage with site teams through site visits.
- Attend public meetings, forums, and events to represent East Sussex Highways where necessary.
- Deliver PIP letters to residents.
- Mitigate public relations risks by addressing sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
- provide regular reports on common public issues and concerns, recommending solutions.
- Provide regular progress updates to the Communications Team, alongside images/footage to enable the creation of Good News Stories.
Who we’re looking for
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- IT literate – Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Stakeholder management experience.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
- Able to analyse Data and trends.
- Approachable, calm under pressure and confident.
