When you join us…

  • You will be required to assist in the main hotel with painting and maintenance work, including preventative and reactive work within the hotel bedrooms and public areas.
  • You will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the hotel carrying out other ad hoc maintenance tasks.
  • You will be working within the multi-skilled Maintenance team and whilst this will be your main responsibility you will have the support of the rest of the team.

This is a full-time role, working 35 hours, five days per week, working Monday – Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm. The role may suit someone looking for a temporary role having recently qualified as painter/decorator looking to get some experience and foot in the door or an opportunity to work over the summer period.

Should there be an opportunity a permanent contract may be offered after six months.

Interview will include a work trial.

What we need from you…

  • Experience in all aspects of painting and decorating
  • Be competent at achieving a high standard of finish
  • Be able to work to high standards with minimal supervision
  • General Maintenance experience ideally within a customer service environment
  • Have excellent English language skills, verbal and written.
