Workshop: Basic IT skills for jobseekers
This 6 week course (from 23 January to 27 February) is designed to encourage confidence in using IT for job searching and applications. We start right at the beginning (getting familiar with IT equipment and terms) and work through to sending emails with attachments, online searching and using Word to complete application forms and cover letters. The course runs from 9 – 4pm. It may finish earlier. There will be a brief break for lunch. Drinks will be provided. It is a taught course with some video content and chance to do some practice questions. There is a pen and paper test at the end.
